Incorporating an integral air concentrator and an ultra-efficient centrifugal fan the Flettner TCX-2 not only leads the way in operational efficiency it is also much simpler to fit that other ventilators – cutting installation times by as much as 50%. Moreover, everything is included with the ventilator – integral bolt fixing, full fitting instructions and template, gasket and shutter - Nothing more to buy, no messy adhesives or mastics and no sourcing of fixings. The TCX-2 on average extract twice as much air from the vehilce than the standard Flettner 2000.
Installing the Flettner roof vent involves cutting a hole in a flat surface on the van roof. This can be done using either an air hacksaw or for a cleaner cut using a holesaw and drill driver. Click here for full fitting instructions.
The Flettner TCX-2™ ventilator (narrow base version) which can be fitted where the spacing between raised ribs is as small as 4.25” (108mm). Designed specifically for larger commercial vehicles and, in particular, trucks and large vans it is advised that this model should NOT be fitted to small car derived vans (e.g. Vauxhall Corsavan, Vauxhall Combo, Citroen Berlingo, Peugeot Partner,Mercedes Citan,Renault Kangoo.)
